On March 2, 2024, at approximately 10:37 p.m. Orlando Police Department began receiving calls in reference to shots being fired in the area of the flea market parking lot of the Fairgrounds(4603 W. Colonial Drive). A short time later Orlando Police Department was notified that a woman had been shot.

Responding officers located the victim in the parking lot with an apparent GSW and began life-saving efforts. The victim was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The victim has been identified as Veronica Ramirez (W/F 35yoa).

This investigation is ongoing. Detectives encourage anyone with information related to this incident to please contact the Orlando Police Department Homicide Unit or pass on their information anonymously through Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

‼️ UPDATE: Layleah Fraiser has been safely recovered

Missing juvenile Layleah Fraiser was last seen at Leesburg High School on March 1st, 2024. Layleah shut her phone off at 3:30pm and no one has heard from her since. Layleah is a black, 16-year-old female, with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'11" and 265 lbs.

Help the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Florida find missing 13-year-old Madeline Soto.

Madeline was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Monday, February 26, off of Village Park Drive in the Hunter’s Creek area, near South John Young Parkway and Town Center Boulevard.

She was wearing a green sweatshirt, black shorts and white Crocs shoes.
