Orange: Royal Palms Homicide
Date: September 11, 2009
Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a shooting at 2860 West Pine Hills Road, Royal Palms Apartments, #129. Upon arrival deputies discovered a 38 year old Hispanic male in the parking lot with at least one, possibly two gun shot wounds. Witnesses advised that the suspects are two black males with dreadlocks wearing all black clothing. Composite sketch of shooter, pictured at left. Witnesses also advised of an altercation or fight prior to shots being fired. The suspects fled the scene, on foot, possibly towards the Seville Place Apartments following the shooting. |

Date: May 27, 2009
At approximately 12:00 am OPD patrol officers were dispatched to 701 S Ivey Lane, Lake Mann Apartments reference a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers found the victim, a 32 year old male, deceased inside a vehicle. The incident appears to be an attempted robbery.

Orlando: Lake Mann Homicide
Date: May 12, 2009
At approximately 7:40pm on May 12th, patrol was dispatched to shots fired in the 3600 Block of North Lake Mann. Officers arrived to find that the victim, Frederick R. Davis B/M 4/15/72 (at left), had been shot while inside his vehicle at that location. Members of the Orlando Fire Department, who heard the shots, responded and pronounced Davis dead at the scene. Witnesses advised that a possible suspect vehicle, that was seen fleeing the area, was described as a gold or tan SUV. |

Melbourne: Two Shot, One Homicide
Date: March 31, 2009
The Melbourne Police Department has identified the two victims that were shot during a fight at the corner of Monroe St. and University Blvd. Melissa McNeil dob 8/14/71 of Melbourne, was pronounced dead at Holmes Regional Hospital, and Shantrell Clayton who is in stable condition, dob 5/25/90 of Melbourne. Information was received that a fight between several females had taken place at Lipscomb Street Park, and moved to the corner of Monroe St. and University Blvd. That’s when unknown person(s) starting firing a weapon, hitting McNeil and Clayton. |

Officers responded to Vacation Lodge to find 62 year old Lawrence Stefkovich deceased. Mr. Stefkovich resided for approximately 2 years at the Vacation Lodge. He left and then recently returned to the Vacation Lodge. Details on manner and cause of death will not be released. The motive for the murder is undetermined at this time. |

Witnesses advised after hearing multiple gunshots, they saw the victim fall in the roadway as a dark colored sedan fled the scene northbound. |

Upon their arrival the officers found the victim, Deryl Larvon Cato Jr.B/M 1/29/84, unresponsive. Orange County Fire Rescue responded and pronounced Cato deceased on the scene. Cato's death appears to be a homicide. |

Date: March 21, 2008
OPD officers responded to a Home Invasion at 6608 Bayboro Ct. When officers arrived they found the resident shot inside. Witnesses described the suspect as: white male, approximately 30 years old, 5'7", approximately 160 lbs. Last seen wearing: Black Jacket, white t-shirt, dark sunglasses
Suspect was last seen running from the rear of the residence toward Chickasaw Trail. It appears that the residence and victim were specifically targeted. Motive is unknown at this time.

Leesburg: Cold Case Homicide
Date: February 17, 1987
On February 17th, 1987 at approximately 9:35 A.M., Victor Kimmel went to visit his mother, Velma P. Champagne (05/06/1897) at her home, 207 S. 7th St. When he arrived Mr. Kimmel noticed that his mother’s blinds were still closed which was uncommon for her at that time of morning. As he entered the screened porch, Mr. Kimmel observed what appeared to be pry marks near the lock mechanism of the front door. Additionally he observed an overturned table and the window to a spare bedroom partially opened. Mr. Kimmel drove the few short blocks to the Leesburg Police Department and reported his concerns. After reporting his concerns
Mr. Kimmel returned to the residence and awaited the arrival of police. Once the police arrived, Mr. Kimmel allowed them entrance to the residence via the front door which was discovered to still be locked. The officer who responded to the scene conducted a check of the home and discovered Mrs.Champagne’s body in her bedroom. Mrs. Champagne was lying on her bed in her night clothes, the apparent victim of a homicide. Mrs. Champagne had died as a result of blunt force trauma from a severe beating. A thorough investigation failed to identify any viable suspect(s) in the case. |

Orlando: Plymouth Man Murdered
Date: March 12, 2008
On 3/12/2008, patrol responded to the 900 block of Plymouth for shots fired. When the officers arrived they found that the victim, Keith Eric Richardson B/M 8/22/82, had been shot. Witnesses advised that they saw a black sedan leaving the scene of the shooting. Within a few minutes, officers spotted a vehicle matching that description in the area of Colyer and Lee. Two subjects bailed out of the vehicle. During a search of the surrounding area, two subjects were arrested on unrelated arrest warrants. Those subjects were brought to CID and interviewed. It is unknown at this time if those subjects are involved in the shooting or related to the vehicle that was found at Colyer and Lee. |

Date: February 6, 2008
On 2/6/08 at approximately 8:20am,Orlando Police Deparment officers responded to 1969 W. New Hampshire reference to a man down in a wooded area behind the business. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Orlando Fire Department personnel. The death has been ruled a homicide. The victim has been identified as Kevin Jeron Brown B/M 6/14/75. |

Titusville: Shell Gas Robbery, Murder
Date: February 14, 2008
At approximately 11:00 pm officers responded to the Shell gas station, located at 1500 Harrison Street, after dispatch received a call from one of the store employees and a customer stating that one of the employees was inured and unresponsive. When police and fire rescue arrived at the scene the store clerk was found fatally wounded and the victim of a robbery. The scene was processed early into the next morning and information was gathered from the customer who arrived just after the crime took place and a second store clerk who was present inside the store during the robbery.

Orlando: Rio Grande Homicide
Date: February 10, 2008
At approximately 1:50am Orlando Police Department officers responded to the Royal Summit Apartments for a shooting. Upon their arrival they found 2 men in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Both subjects were transported to ORMC where they died. A vehicle possibly belonging to one of the subjects is missing.
The vehicle is a white 2 door Oldsmobile Alero with dark tinted windows. The license tag on the vehicle is J549QF.

Seminole: Howell Branch Homicide
Date: November 16, 2007
At approximately 10:20 p.m., on November 16, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office received several emergency 911 calls in reference to the report of gunshots near the Howell Branch Road area. Deputies responded to 216 Stefanik Road, Winter Park, within minutes. On scene, deputies located Keira Banks, 12/6/82. Banks was discovered unconscious, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). Banks later died at the hospital.
Witnesses report three or four black males fleeing the scene in a blue or green Crown Victoria or possibly Mercury Grand Marquis. It is also believed that the vehicle may have been missing some hubcaps. |

Brevard: West Cocoa Homicide
Date: October 11, 2007
Sheriff’s Homicide Agents are investigating the death of 36-year-old Andrew R. Small of 321 Western Avenue, Cocoa. Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:00 pm, the victim’s girlfriend arrived at the victim’s residence to check his wellbeing after she hadn’t heard from him in the last 24 hours. Upon her arrival, she discovered the victim dead inside his residence. The investigation remains ongoing, with an autopsy to be performed in the coming days. The cause of death is not being released at this time; however, Sheriff’s Agents have determined the homicide to be drug related and the motive was robbery. |

Sanford: Roadside Victim Dies
Date: October 6, 2007
On 10-06-07 at 8:12am, the Sanford Police Department received information on a subject that was injured and laying on the side of the roadway. The incident location was in the area of Celery Avenue and Bay Avenue. The victim (David Santiago) had suffered massive trauma to the head and was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. The victim was last seen by family members at his residence (on 10/06/07) at approximately 2:30am. The motive behind this incident has not yet been determined.
UPDATE: The victim (David Santiago) has since died. This case is now being actively investigated as a homicide. |

Brevard: Boat Dock Homicide
Date: September 14, 2007
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying anyone who might have information about the death of 56-year-old Warren Austin Logue, in Malabar on September 14th.
The investigation has led Sheriff’s Agents to believe Mr. Logue might have confronted unknown persons on his dock along the river. The dock is located across from Mr. Logue’s residence, 1670 U.S. HWY-1, Malabar. During this confrontation, Mr. Logue was subsequently struck and killed by a small to medium sized, front wheel drive vehicle, which fled from the scene without rendering or seeking assistance. The vehicle might have sustained rear end damage during this incident. |

Police have officially identified the victims as 23-year-old Johnny Lee Fisher of Kissimmee and 22-year-old David Clarence Manning of Kissimmee. Both victims were found shot to death in a green Isuzu S.U.V. that was found parked in front of 2015 Kelly Street. Crime occured, August 11, 2007. |

Cocoa: Female Shooting Victim Dies
Date: July 6, 2007
At approximately 5:00 a.m., on Friday, July 6, 2007, Cocoa Police responded to the area of Peachtree Street and Blake Avenue in reference to a woman’s body in the roadway. A person driving to work saw the woman in the roadway and called police.. The woman had been shot one time. When police arrived, the victim was only able to tell police that she had been shot, then she lost consciousness. The victim was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Investigators have spent the day canvassing the area looking for suspects or possible witnesses. Police did not receive a phone call about a gunshot heard in the area, so it is unknown at this time how long the victim was there. The victim has been identified as Erin Misty LcCleary (White female, Date of birth: 3/15/72). |

Osceola County Sheriff's detectives have confirmed the identity of the body found near Boggy Creek Road as Ragan Kendall (DOB 2/12/59) of Kissimmee. Kendall was last seen on June 17 when she was released from the Osceola County jail . Kendall had a history of drug and prostitution charges. Seminole County: Chicory Lane Homicide
Date: September 28, 2006
At approximately 10:10 p.m., on 09/28/06, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at 2467 Chicory Lane #101, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole County). When deputies arrived on scene they located Michael Peisner (Date of birth: 2-27-1981) deceased, as well as an injured 17 year-old, Tasha Smith. The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating potential motives and circumstances leading up to the shooting.
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking help from the public to identify other witnesses who can help further this investigation.

According to detectives another person was shot and is being treated in a local hospital. Detectives believe the homicide was the result of an arguement. The suspects left the area in either a brown or red Dodge Intrepid or Ford Taurus. |

Orange: Attempted Robbery, Homicide
Date : February 13, 2007 2:31 pm
On February 13th, 2007 at 14:31 hours an unknown black male attempted to rob a patron in the drive-thru, subsequently fatally shooting the victim, at the Bank of America at 5655 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando (sector 1/zone 13). The victim was in the drive-thru making a deposit when the suspect approached him from the driver’s side. The suspect shot the victim one time. The suspect then fled the scene in an older model, dark tan, 4-door, dark tinted windows, “vehicle that resembled a police car,” north on Magnolia Homes Road.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’00”, mid twenties, medium complexion, medium/muscular build, with short/medium braids sticking out of a black ball cap. The suspect was also described as having gold teeth and a couple of days growth of beard. See Composite. |

Orange: Person of Interest in Death Investigation
Date : August 29, 2006
On August 29, 2006 at approximately 9:00 AM the body of 37 year old Valdimir Ferras was found partially submerged and bound to a tire and rim from his 2006 Toyota Pirus in Lake Conway a few yards off of the Randolph Street Boat Ramp. Investigators have ruled the death a homicide. The victim’s badly burned Toyota Pirus was found a few days later. Investigators later learned that the man seen in the attached photographs tried to use the victims credit card at a Walmart Store located at 3838 South Semoran Avenue about eight hours after the victim was found. Investigators have been trying to locate the man they are at this time referring to as a “person of interest.” The man is described as a young Hispanic male, 6’, thin build, light facial hair wearing what appears to be “Dickie” work style blue pants, shirt, and ball cap.

Kissimmee : Double Homicide
Date: November 20, 2006
On Monday, 11/20/06 at 4:45 am, the two victims were confronted by three or four hispanic males in the parking lot of the Willows Apartment Complex 1640 West Carroll Street. The suspects were described as in their late teens to mid twenties. The suspects robbed the victims of jewelry which included a large gold pendant of Jesus, (similar to the photograph at left). The suspects fled in a white Toyota Camry with black bumpers, (estimated 1985-1990 style).

Victim Dies From Injuries

The victim was exiting the 7-Eleven located at 6994 W. Colonial Drive when he was attacked by at least one black male in an effort to rob him. During a struggle, the victim suffered serious injuries. Witnesses described the Suspect as a ligh skinned black male, or hispanic. Suspect was last seen driving a black KIA, or compact sedan, late 90's to early 2000's model, very good condition, with a temporary tag attached to the back.

Man Ambushed in Metrowest
Date: February 20, 2006
A man in Orlando who was shot during an ambush robbery outside of his apartment died from his injuries Tuesday. Orlando police officers responded to a robbery call at the Marina Landing Apartments in MetroWest Monday night and found a tenant shot in the chest and left for dead on a sidewalk near his apartment. "Orlando police patrol officers responded to what was dispatched as a robbery to a person," Orlando police Lt. Braun Skill said. "Apparently, from what we understand, the victim was just returning home and walking up to his apartment when he was confronted by the suspect." Police said the gunman demanded money from the victim. "There was a verbal exchange between the two that indicated that the victim was going to be robbed," Skill said. "We are not sure of the exact wording that was said between the victim and the suspect." The shooter fled on foot after the shooting and a search of the area was unsuccessful.

Osceola : Double Homicide
Date : December 2006
Osceola County Sheriff's detectives have released the identity of the two victims in today's double homicide. They are Harold Garrean, 48, and Debbie Partin, 38, of St. Cloud. It appears that the victims may have known or had a relationship with the suspects. While searching the home, investigators uncovered an undisclosed amount of drugs. No motive or cause of death has been released. Detectives continue to investigate these deaths as homicides. Detectives have released a composite sketch of a possible suspect. He is described as a black male, muscular build, approximately 5'8” and 160-180 lbs. He was wearing dark clothes with a dark colored ski cap. |

Orange : Fatal Audobon Village Robbery
Date: December 3, 2006
Authorities in Orange County, Fla., released composite sketches of two men wanted for shooting three people, two fatally, during an apparent neighborhood robbery. Orange County sheriff's deputies said two men attacked John Bigler Saturday as he got out of his car at his home located in Audubon Village. Neighbor Jeanie Ferree and her boyfriend rushed to help, but they were also hit by bullets. Ferree later died from her injuries. Police said the men may be driving a silver Chevrolet Impala. |

On Friday, 10/13/06, at approx. 10:53pm, the pictured victim, Vandino Slaughter, was robbed and murdered in the staircase of building 2024, Oak Glen Apartments, in the 2000 block of Mercy Dr. Two black male suspects wearing dark shirts over their faces committed the robbery/murder.

Brevard: Old Dixie Hwy Homicide
Date: May 19, 2006, approx. midnight
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred on Old Dixie Highway in Titusville, Florida. At approximately 7:00 a.m. on May 19, 2006 a white male was found deceased on the east side of the roadway in the 1400 block of Old Dixie Highway by two males on their way to work. Investigation determined that the victim died as the result of a homicide from trauma observed on the body. The trauma appears to be a gunshot wound. It is believed at this time that the victim was killed sometime after midnight.
The victim has been identified as Mark Anthony Stewart, white male, date of birth 8/21/83, with a residence of 1180 Titus Avenue, Titusville, Florida. |

Orange County: Cash Register Homicide
Date: July 14, 2006, 5:30 pm
On July 14, 2006, at 5:30 pm three to four black males entered Cash Register Auto Insurance located at 2477 South Orange Blossom Trail. The Suspects robbed customers and employees within the store. One of the robbers shot and killed employee Anthony Ortiz. Suspects are believed to have fled from the scene in a tan 4 door vehiclepossibly with custom chrome wheels. The Suspects shown are participants in the robbery homicide. The other Suspects are described as black males 18-24 years of age, 5'08", 160 lbs.
The white cap pictured was left at the scene by one of the Suspects. There is a "407" logo atop the cap, with a dime coin stick pin attached to the front cap.
Suspect #1 (top, at left) is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, dark complected, 6'0", average build with small twist hair style. Suspect was wearing black shorts and white tank top.
Suspect #2 (bottom, at left) is described as a black male, 18-24 years of age, medium complected, 5'09" with a medium build. Suspect has jaw length dread style hair. Suspect was possibly wearing a white tank top and black shorts. |
