Orange: Drury Lane Murder

Date: April 26, 2011

Location: 7707 Drury Lane

Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 7077 Drury Lane following a 9-1-1 call from a woman saying that shots were fired inside her house. The woman reportedly fled the home upon hearing the gunfire and ran to a neighbor’s house to report the incident.

Upon arrival and accessing the residence Deputies found a man, believed to be in his mid 20’s, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and determined that the man was deceased.

Orange: Shell Station Homicide

Date: March 28, 2010

Victim: Deonta Williams

1208 Santa Anita Dr

Orlando FL 32808

 

During the early morning hours of March 28, 2010, the victim, identified as Deonta Williams, was in the parking lot of the Shell Gas station located at 601 North John Young Parkway. The victim was shot several times and later pronounced dead at ORMC. The vehicle the suspect was seen leaving the area and was described as follows: 2002-05 Dark Green Ford Expedition. The Expedition was described as having dark tinted windows and an after market chrome grill that runs vertically.

The suspect was described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties.

 
 
 
 

Orange: Victim Identified, Truck Fire

Date: March 23, 2010

Orange County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Investigators used DNA analysis to identify the man found inside a burning pickup truck on the 6900 block of Redditt Road at about 9:38 PM on March 23. Ignacio Mariscal-Ramirez, 07.31.76, was discovered inside his silver 2002 Ford F-150 following what first emergency responders believed to be a fatal vehicle crash. Closer examination of the scene revealed that he was murdered.

Ramirez was last seen when he left his Apopka home during the early evening hours of March 23. Family members were unaware of his whereabouts until investigators contacted them to advise of his death.

 
 
 
 

Seminole: Homeless Victim, Homicide

Date: January 26, 2010

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is currently investigating an apparent homicide at U.S. Hwy 17-92 & Collins Drive, Sanford, FL.

Sheriff’s Deputy was flagged down by man who stated there was a deceased individual in a homeless camp that was located behind the Quick Stop convenience store in Sanford. Deputies conducted a search of the wooded area behind the store and located a deceased male. The victim was later identified as Albert Capps (W/M DOB 2/28/53). Capps was listed as homeless and was known to frequent the U.S. Hwy 17-92 corridor in the Sanford area.

 
 
 
 

Mount Dora: Hackett Street Homicide

Date: November 25, 2009

On November 25, 2009 at approximately 2:45 pm, 56 year old Terry Clayton was found shot dead in his residence at 1517 Hackett Street in Mount Dora. Police have limited information and are asking for your assistance in bringing those responsible to justice.

 

 
 
 
 

Kissimmee: S. Beach Circle Homicide

Date: November 16, 2009

Jeffrey Lee Harnish was found dead inside of his residence located at 1229 South Beach Circle in Kissimmee. The circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious in nature.

 
 
 
 

Orlando: Botany Court Homicide

Date: November 11, 2009

Victim: Mark A. Clark

Black Male, Date of birth: 12/28/83

Location: 5369 Botany Court

Officers responded to the above location and found the victim was found outside the residence fatally shot.

 
 
 
 

Mascotte: Auto Sales Homicide

Date: November 11, 2009

Victim: Guradath Persaud

On Saturday 11/07/2009, at approximately 3:36pm, Mascotte Police Officers responded to #12 West Myers Blvd., Mascotte, FL (Mascotte Auto Sales), for a reported unconscious person. Upon arrival, the body of the victim was discovered inside the business. The cause of death was determined to be Blunt Force Trauma. The victim was last seen alive at approximately 11:00pm on Friday 11/06/2009 by an employee. The victim did not return home on Friday evening, 11/06/2009, according to family members.
